Basic Training

Using the L.I.F.E System Biofeedback Device

Basic Training covers the Fundamentals of Biofeedback Manual and Power Point; navigating through the L.I.F.E. System and going over all of the programs. Students will work on each other as client and practitioner, starting from the moment they are welcomed to the office to deciding a plan of action for subsequent sessions. Basic Training is covered by the cost of the device (a time limit may be enforced). Please contact your broker if there are any questions.

Intermediate Training

Intermediate Training covers such topics as a brief history of Biofeedback, and a brief discussion of Classical Biofeedback. It also covers Informed Consent Forms as well as hands on training using the Emotional Timeline, protocols and more.

At the end of the fourth day of training, students will be eligible to apply for their Certified Biofeedback Technician through the Natural Therapies Certification Board.

Pricing

Basic Training costs $500 if not covered by the initial cost of the L.I.F.E. System.

Intermediate Training costs $500. This includes the Intermediate manual, handout information and a demo DVD for potential clients to view.

CBS Certification Training

Supervision
As a Certified Biofeedback Supervisor, Charlotte is qualified to supervise students during their internship, a requirement for CBS designation. This involves keeping track of 500 client hours while doing a teleconference call once a week to discuss questions and concerns about clients or protocols. The cost is $200 if paid within one month of obtaining one's CBT, or $50 per month for six months.

Professional Ethics and Biofeedback Coaching Workshop
Using a powerful informed consent form is one of the strongest defenses an alternative healthcare professional has against charges of practicing anything without a license. Having a well-thought-out Code of Professional Ethics, a working relationship with other professionals, a mission statement and a clear idea of what you can legally do is also important. These workshops are designed to assist you with these topics. Note: Students who enroll for both Professional Ethics and the Biofeedback Coaching Workshop will receive the $65 Basics of Biofeedback course for no additional cost.

Anatomy and Physiology
This anatomy and physiology course contains the following modules:
1. The Skeletal System
2. The Integumentary System
3. The Muscular System
4. The Nervous System
5. The Sensory System
6. The Endrocrine System
7. The Cardiovascular System
8. The Lymphatic System
9. The Respiratory System
10. The Digestive System
11. The Urinary System
12. The Reproductive System
Each module has a self-graded practice examination. Students with questions about any of these questions are encouraged to read the study material again because all of the answers may be found there. The final examination is based on the same material covered by these practice examinations. Please note: Modules 6-11 comprise and are a part of the Immune System.

Advanced Training

Teleconference calls will take place to discuss course material and homework; two hours on Saturday and two hours on Sunday.

If you are a Certified Biofeedback Specialist through the NTCB, this course will provide the 20 CEUs necessary for re-certification.
